Audrey'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 oz. can pineapple, crushed with juice
    1 pkg. jello instant pudding (I use French vanilla)
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    pound cake
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except 1/2 cup pineapple juice.
    Punch holes in cake after cutting cake lengthwise in 3 sections. Pour juice over cake.
    Spread each layer with mixture.
    Sprinkle with slivered almonds.
