Hot Pickle Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    1 head cabbage
Preparation
    Cut cabbage into quarters and pack into jar.
    Add salt, pepper and
    garlic
    to
    jar.
    Boil vinegar and water together. Add vinegar and water to jar.
    Process in a hot water bath for 10 minutes.
    Makes 1 quart.
