Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. sliced onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    2 c. cubed ham, fully cooked
    2 c. half and half
    3 c. fresh broccoli
    4 c. water
    4 tsp. instant chicken bouillon
    3/4 c. Velveeta pimento cheese, cubed
Preparation
    In large frypan, saute butter, onion and celery.
    Blend in flour, stirring well.
    Add milk and half and half slowly; keep stirring until thick and smooth.
    Remove from heat; cover and let set.
    In a 4-quart (or larger) saucepan, cook broccoli in 4 cups water for 6 minutes.
    Add chicken bouillon; cook and gradually add the milk-onion-celery mixture.
    Simmer on low heat.
    Add cheese and ham until cheese is completely melted.
    Serves 8.
