Easy Okra Dish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 3 c. okra
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 tsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Melt butter in medium frying pan.
Add whole okra pods and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add remaining ingredients and mix lightly.
Cover and simmer until okra is tender (about 10 to 15 minutes).
