Cincinnati Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 (29 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (14 oz.) can peeled, whole tomatoes
1 small onion, chopped
1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
2 bay leaves
1 toe garlic
pinch of ground red pepper
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation

In large saucepan, cook ground beef and onion until onion is tender and ground beef is no longer pink.
Drain fat from meat. Add the remaining ingredients; stir well.
Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
Remove bay leaf and garlic toe.
Serve over hot, drained spaghetti noodles.
Top each serving with grated Cheddar cheese.
Leftovers are great!
