Oven Fried Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. margarine
1/2 c. Gold Medal flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Wash chicken and pat dry.
In oven, melt shortening and butter in baking pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
Mix flour, salt, paprika and pepper.
Coat chicken with flour mixture. Place chicken, skin side down, in shortening and butter.
Bake 30 minutes.
Turn chicken.
Bake 30 minutes longer or until tender.
