Scalloped Corn - cooking recipe

1 beaten egg
1 c. milk
1 c. coarsely crushed saltines or multi-grain
1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1 can Cheddar cheese soup
pimiento
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine egg, milk, soup, 2/3 cup cracker crumbs, 1/4 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper.
Stir in corn, onion and pimiento; mix well.
Turn into a 1-quart casserole.
Toss butter with remaining crumbs; sprinkle atop corn mixture.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean.
