Beef Steak Potato Scallops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. beef stew meat (diet)
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    5 to 6 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    dash of garlic salt
    3 to 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced in rounds
    salt
    flour
    3 small onions, thinly sliced
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of thyme
    3 c. water
    paprika
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Coat stew meat with flour.
    Salt and pepper meat.
    Melt shortening in skillet, brown meat.
    Add onions, cook and stir until onions are tender.
