German Stollen - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. milk, scalded and cooled
1 cake Fleischmann's yeast
3 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 Tbsp. lemon rind
1 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins
1 c. candied fruit (optional)
3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
Preparation
-
Combine yeast and flour; add to milk.
Let rise until light. Add remaining ingredients.
Knead.
Let rise until very light.
