Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
Preparation
    Mix
    like
    pie dough, gradually adding 1/2 cup of milk. Roll and
    cut
    into
    3-inch
    squares.
    Quarter apples.
    Place brown sugar
    in
    center of apples and sprinkle with cinnamon. Make syrup and bring to a boil (1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup water and 2 tablespoons margarine).
    Pour over dumplings and bake at 375\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
