Red Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
7 eggs
1 c. milk
1 oz. red food coloring
3 c. cake flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream butter well and add sugar.
Cream until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time.
Beat well after each.
Mix flour, salt and baking powder together.
Add to butter and sugar mixture, alternating with milk.
Mix well.
Add coloring and vanilla.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours in greased and floured Bundt pan.
