Yankee Succotash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can whole kernel corn
    1 can lima beans
    1 can yellow hominy
    2 Tbsp. butter
    pepper to taste
    approximately 2 c. milk (to cover)
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Drain vegetables and put in saucepan with butter, pepper and milk.
    Bring to a slow simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
    Mix cornstarch with water and add to vegetables.
    Simmer slowly until thickened, stirring frequently.
