Chess Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar (1/2 brown and 1/2 white)
    3 egg yolks
    1 stick butter
    1/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix eggs, sugar and butter.
    Add milk and vanilla.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until mixture thickens.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add sugar; spread over pie.
    Let brown.
