Celery Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head celery
    1 small onion
    salt
    1/2 oz. margarine
    1/2 oz. flour
    4 oz. celery stock
    4 oz. milk
    1 hard-boiled egg
    8 oz. mashed potatoes
    1 oz. grated cheese
Preparation
    Trim and cut celery into 2-inch lengths.
    Put into pot with chopped onion and enough water to cover; add salt and simmer until tender.
    Melt margarine in separate pan.
    Add flour, then milk and 4 ounces of stock and stir until boiling.
    Season to taste and mix with chopped, hard-boiled egg.
    Layer celery in a greased pie plate and pour sauce over.
    Mix mashed potatoes with cheese; season and spread over celery.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
