Sourdough Starter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 c. buttermilk (dairy)
    2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Soften yeast in warm water with sugar.
    Let stand 5 minutes or doubled in volume.
    Mix next 3 ingredients together until smooth. Add yeast mixture.
    Then pour into large enough container to let triple in volume (non-metal).
