Jewel-Toned Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dried apricots
    2 c. pitted dates
    1 c. drained red and/or green maraschinos
    1 1/2 c. Brazil nuts (3/4 lb.)
    1 c. red and green candied pineapple
    3/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    salt
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Leave all ingredients whole; mix in a large bowl.
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, eggs and vanilla.
    Mix all ingredients.
    Spoon into 9 x 5 x 3-inch waxed paper lined and greased pan.
    Spread evenly.
    Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes or until pick comes out clean.
