Oklahoma Chile Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. red pinto beans
    2 small ham hocks
    1 (7 oz.) can Ortega chilies
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. honey
    1 small onion
Preparation
    Simmer about 1 hour and then continue to cook slowly until beans are done.
    Cook beans slowly.
    Serves 10 to 12.
