Mom Mercer'S Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    1 pt. sweetened fruit
Preparation
    Melt margarine in a 2-quart baking dish. Sift dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Add milk and stir into a batter. Pour this mixture over melted margarine. Pour fruit over the batter and bake 1 hour at 300\u00b0. The batter will rise to the top and the fruit will be on the bottom.
