Texas Pralines - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients; cook together until the syrup forms a soft ball stage when tested in cold water (220\u00b0).
Remove from stove.
Add pecans, vanilla and butter.
Beat until mixture begins to hold shape.
Drop the candy from a spoon onto wax paper. Wrap in foil and store in a tightly covered container.
