Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. caramel or butterscotch Kre-mel
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. shelled peanuts
    1/4 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix Kre-mel and sugar.
    Add water and boil to 280\u00b0 (hard-crack stage).
    Remove from stove.
    Add soda and peanuts and spread out in pan, lightly oiled with butter.
    When cold, break in pieces.
