Oakland Inn Pickled Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium size carrots
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salad oil
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Clean and peel carrots; cook in boiling water until done. Drain and slice.
    Add rest of ingredients; mix and let marinate. The longer they marinate, the better.
