Sweet Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. nuts
2 c. raisins
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
5 Tbsp. cocoa
2 c. flour
4 well beaten eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 c. cooked sweet potatoes

Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs.
Sift flour with baking powder, spices and salt. Add to creamed mixture, then add raisins and potatoes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until toothpick comes out clean when tested, about 35 minutes.
Use loaf pans.
