Old Pecan Street Special - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large whole eggs
    1 c. light corn syrup (Karo)
    2/3 c. sugar (white)
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pastry shell
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients.
    Stir in chopped pecans and pour into pastry shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 50 to 55 minutes.
    Cool on a wire rack.
    Yields 1 (9-inch) pie.
