"Ala" Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (7 oz.) cans minced clams
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 tsp. instant minced onion
    2 pkg. Birds Eye frozen peas and potatoes in cream sauce
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can Carnation cream
    1 can water
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    dash of salt and pepper
    paprika
Preparation
    Drain clams; reserve liquid.
    Cook celery and onion in butter until tender.
    Stir in peas and potatoes, chicken soup, water, milk, clam liquid, thyme, salt and pepper.
    Cook and stir until mixture bubbles.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
    Stir in clams and heat to boiling.
    Garnish with paprika.
