Skillet Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
2 eggs
pinch of salt
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 pkg. sliced almonds
Preparation

Melt butter and add to sugar in mixing bowl.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Add flour, salt and flavoring and mix well.
Line a 9 to 11-inch iron skillet with aluminum foil.
Leave excess foil on either side.
Pour batter into skillet.
Sprinkle almonds and granulated sugar on top of batter.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Remove cake from pan after it has cooled with foil; lift out, holding excess foil.
Do not pull foil off until cake has cooled.
