Lemon Pudding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, separated
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    1 tsp. lemon rind
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Beat together egg yolks, lemon juice and rind and butter until thick and lemon colored.
    Combine sugar, flour and salt and add to egg mixture alternately with milk, beating after each addition. Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Blend into batter, using low speed of beater.
    Pour into an 8-inch square baking dish and set in pan of hot water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serve warm with Cool Whip.
    Makes 8 servings.
