Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. salad oil
2 medium onions, sliced
1 green pepper, cut in strips
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. oregano
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1 (3 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 lb. shrimp
Preparation

Heat oil in skillet.
Add onion slices and pepper strips and cook until tender.
Blend in flour.
Add salt, pepper, oregano, tomatoes and tomato sauce.
Cover and cook over low heat, 15 to 20 minutes.
Cook shrimp 3 to 5 minutes in boiling water; drain.
Add shrimp to sauce.
Serve over cooked rice.
