Bulk Biscuit Mix - cooking recipe

6 c. flour
3 TBSP. baking pwd.
1 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

For biscuit mix:
Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a lrg. bowl and mix well.
Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until particles are fine.
Store at room temperature in an airtight container.
For 12 biscuits, preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Place 2-1/2 c. biscuit mix in a lrg. bowl.
Add milk gradually, stirring constantly.
Stir just until blended.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until well mixed.
Roll into a 1/2 in. thick circle.
Cut with a 2 in. biscuit cutter.
Arrange the biscuits in a 13 by 9 baking pan.
Bake until lightly browned, about 12-15 min.
