Arkansas Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick margarine
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. pared and diced apples

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream sugar and margarine.
Add eggs and mix.
Add buttermilk and stir.
Add flour, soda and cinnamon. Add diced apples.
When mixed, spread mixture into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch cake pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
Cool and frost.
