Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. oil
1 lb. ground beef
2 (28 oz.) cans whole tomatoes
2 (19 oz.) cans red kidney beans
1/4 c. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 c. beer
1 tsp. salt
1/4 to 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation

Saute onions in oil until tender.
Add ground beef and brown. Add seasonings, tomatoes and kidney beans.
Stir.
Add beer and stir.
Simmer slowly, covered, for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until thick.
Remove lid and simmer, uncovered, if necessary.
Serve with rice, grated cheese and sour cream.
