Saucepan Brownies(From Snowdrift Can In 1947) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. double action baking powder
    4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2/3 c. Snowdrift
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts
    chocolate icing
Preparation
    Melt together over hot water chocolate and Snowdrift.
    Beat in sugar and eggs.
    Sift together and stir in flour, salt and baking powder.
    Mix in chopped nuts.
    Spread in greased oblong pan (9 x 13-inch) and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Frost with favorite chocolate icing.
