Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 c. quick oats
    1 stick margarine, melted
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. apples
Preparation
    Mix brown sugar, flour, oats and margarine until crumbly. Place apples in 8 x 8-inch square pan.
    Cover with crumb mix.
    Cook other ingredients until thick and clear; pour over crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 approximately 1 hour.
    Use with other fruit:
    cherries, rhubarb and peaches.
