Fresh Fruit Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 prebaked 9-inch pie shell (deep dish)
    fresh fruit (berries, peaches, etc.)
    1 small pkg. jello (desired flavor, regular or sugar-free)
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients and heat until thickened.
    Add jello and cool.
    Put fruit in pie shell and pour liquid mixture over fruit.
