Best Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    a pinch of salt
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    3 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    2 c. chopped nuts
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    strawberries (with stems)
Preparation
    Melt chocolate pieces in top of a double boiler. Add butter and vanilla. Dip strawberries in chocolate, swirling to coat evenly. Place on wax paper and set in cool dry place. Make about 1 1/3 cups dip.
