Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    3/4 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 (No. 2) can water-packed blackberries (2 1/2 c.)
    2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco.
    Add eggs and spices.
    Stir soda and buttermilk together and add.
    Then add flour, berries, etc.
    Mix all.
    Bake about 40 to 50 minutes in 3 layer cake pans greased and floured at 350\u00b0.
