Sour Cream Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    4 oz. melted unsweetened chocolate, cooled
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2-inch oblong pan or 2 (9-inch) or 3 (8-inch) round layer pans.
    Measure all ingredients into large mixing bowl.
    Mix 1/2 minute on low speed. Beat 3 minutes on high speed.
    Scrape bowl.
    Pour into pan(s). Bake until top springs back when touched lightly with finger. Cool.
    Frost if desired or eat plain.
