Mexican Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz pasteurized process cheese spread
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 c. chopped tomato
    2 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. corn meal
Preparation
    Brown meat; drain.
    Add green pepper and onion.
    Cook until tender.
    Add half of process cheese spread and chili powder.
    Stir over low heat until process cheese spread is melted.
    Stir in tomato; combine remaining process cheese spread, eggs, flour, salt and milk.
    Beat until smooth.
    Pour into greased 9-inch pie plate. Sprinkle with corn meal.
    Spoon meat mixture over batter to within 1-inch of edge.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
