Chocolate Mint Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. peppermint extract
Preparation
    Cut chocolate in pieces.
    Add water.
    Stir over low heat until chocolate is melted.
    While stirring, add sugar and salt.
    Boil for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat; add butter and peppermint extract.
    Serve hot or cold over ice cream, sponge cake, etc. Yields about 1 1/2 cups.
