Butter Nut Chewies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
2 eggs
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Beat eggs until foamy.
Beat in sugar, vanilla and margarine. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to egg mixture.
Beat until blended.
Stir in nuts.
Batter will be stiff.
Spread in pan evenly (13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, greased).
Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cool.
Cut.
Makes 2 dozen.
