Shrimp A La Perea - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 lb. large shrimp
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped green onions
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. artichokes, drained
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Heat oil in large, heavy skillet.
    Add the peeled, deveined shrimp and saute quickly, stirring frequently, until pink.
    Add green onions and garlic and cook 2 minutes.
    Add artichokes, mushrooms, salt, pepper, thyme, parsley and lemon juice.
    Cook, stirring, until mushrooms and shrimp are tender, about 3 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
    Serve over favorite pasta, coated with butter and olive oil.
