Artichoke Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (6 oz.) jars marinated artichoke hearts
1 clove crushed garlic
1 small onion, chopped
4 eggs or 8 egg whites for low cholesterol
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/2 lb. (2 c.) grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Drain artichokes; save oil from one jar.
Saute onion and garlic in the saved oil. Chop artichokes. Beat eggs. Add crumbs and spices. Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
Pour into greased 8 x 11-inch Pyrex pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until firm to touch. Cool slightly. Cut into squares and serve warm.
