Shrimp Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
    2 tsp. minced shallots
    1/2 tsp. minced garlic
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 lb. fettucine
    4 egg yolks
    2 tsp. parsley
    1 pt. half and half
    3/4 c. grated Italian cheese
Preparation
    In a large skillet, cook shrimp, shallots and garlic in butter over moderate heat, stirring, 3 to 4 minutes, until shrimp is firm and pink.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cook fettucine al dente and add to shrimp.
