Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. dark molasses
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1 beaten egg
Preparation
    Mix the flour, brown sugar and butter into crumbs; set aside. Mix the molasses, baking soda, boiling water and beaten egg, then mix with 1/2 the crumbs, but do not beat.
    Put in pie shell. Cover with the remaining crumbs.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 11 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
