Roast Pork With Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (5 lb.) pork roast
salt and pepper
1 (2 lb.) pkg. sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
3 tart green apples, sliced
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. caraway seed
1/4 c. dark beer or cider
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 450\u00b0.
Rub the pork roast with salt and pepper.
Brown on all sides in oven 20 to 30 minutes.
Remove roast from oven.
Scatter sauerkraut around roast.
In a bowl, mix apples, onion, brown sugar, mustard and caraway seed.
Sprinkle this mixture over the sauerkraut; drizzle the beer.
Cover and roast 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until thermometer reaches 160\u00b0.
Do not let roast dry out.
