Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. sweet milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. coconut flavoring
    3 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add milk and flavoring.
    Add dry ingredients. Beat well.
    Fold in coconut.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0 in a large tube pan, greased well.
