Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sift together.
    Add to mix and stir by hand well, 1 (Number 303) can fruit cocktail and 2 eggs.
    Pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle on top 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup pecans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
