Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium apples
    1 can (5) biscuits
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Peel and quarter apples.
    Cook, letting them come to a boil. Then separate biscuits into halves and roll each half flat.
    Put 1/5 fruit on a half and top with another half.
    Seal overlap by mashing top and bottom edges together.
    Repeat for other dumplings.
    Mix 1 cup of the water used for cooking the apples with the sugar and 3/4 stick margarine.
    Put dumplings in pan and pour mixture over them.
    Melt the remaining 1/4 stick butter and pour over all.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
