Mints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. pkg. softened cream cheese
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
    green food coloring
Preparation
    Work the cream cheese and powdered sugar together with hands until creamy.
    Add 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract.
    You may use spearmint, vanilla, almond or coconut, if you desire.
    The more you work the dough the creamier the mixture.
    Add food coloring and pinch off in 1/2 teaspoon amounts, roll in granulated sugar and press into plastic mold.
    Also may use fork to press down into patties.
