Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fat hen
    1 pimentos
    2 eggs
    pie crust
    1 c. celery
    1 medium onion
    2 cans mixed peas and carrots
Preparation
    Cook fat hen and dice meat.
    Saute celery, pimentos and onion in a small amount of butter.
    Make chicken gravy very thick from stock, thicken with cornstarch or flour.
    Cut up 2 hard-boiled eggs into gravy.
    Add sauteed vegetables, 2 cans of mixed peas and carrots and the diced chicken.
    Pour into long baking dish and cover with pie crust.
    (Bottom crust is optional.)
    Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) until brown, about 45 minutes.
