Inez Nix'S Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 to 3/4 box medium prunes (1 c. mashed)
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 c. Wesson oil
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts, chopped

Preparation

Blend sugar, oil and eggs.
Add dry ingredients.
Add baking soda to buttermilk.
Add to mixture.
Mix well but do not beat. Add prunes and nuts.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Pour into pan and bake at 300\u00b0 until cake pulls away from sides of pan.
